§ 22-1. Short title, authority, and applicability.

(a)

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "City of Crystal River Transportation Impact Fee Ordinance."

(b)

The city council has the authority to adopt this chapter pursuant to article VIII of the Florida Constitution and Chapters 163 and 166 of the Florida Statutes.

(c)

The provisions of this article shall apply to all buildings, improvements and land within the corporate city limits of the City of Crystal River, unless they are expressly exempted by law.

(d)

The transportation impact fee study dated January 12, 2009, prepared by Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is incorporated herein by reference, in haec verba.
